Virtual Cycle White Villages of Andalusia, Spain with Natural Sounds
3 Great Cycle Rides in Andalusia, Spain passing the famous and the picturesque Pueblos Blancos (White Villages) of Andalusia. These small, quiet hilltop towns are distinguished by their simple whitewashed houses influenced by the Berber architecture of North Africa, the Moors' native land. The Pueblos Blancos are a wonderful addition to an Andalusian Cycle Tour.
Visit Ronda is a mountaintop city in Spain’s Malaga province that’s set dramatically above a deep gorge.
and Explore Setenil de las Bodegas
This unique Pueblo Blanco grew out of a collection of cave dwellings, and many of the present-day dwellings were hewn from rock. Entire rows of whitewashed buildings seem to be submerged under massive rocky overhangs. Setenil de las Bodegas has been settled since the Moorish Almohad period of the 12th century. A legacy of the Islamic heritage, the ruins of a Moorish castle overlook the medieval village.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS & FEEDBACK
The first segment of this DVD clips along through rolling hills and meadows of the beautiful Spanish countryside. It is an isolated adventure, breezing past green meadows, fields of grain and orchards... pretty much just you and the pavement. The second leg of your journey is at a much slower pace, almost a walking pace, and begins on a gravel path over rugged terrain with a spectacular view of scenic cliffs. Then it is on to a cobblestone lane through the plaza, past white buildings of the village and a stone fortress...the journey is a choppy one, pausing several times to take in the sites. The final 20 minutes is also at a slower pace, with breaks to take in the sleepy village and fascinating cliffside dwellings before you finish up back in the countryside. This DVD does not flow quite as well as others, but the scenery of Andalusia makes a nice addition to your video library. Karen
