This DVD features some of the most striking and vividly colored birds one could ever hope to see. In the first segment, it feels as though you are looking out windows at a variety of bird feeders while enjoying the lush sights and sounds of the tropics. Pull up a comfortable chair and watch birds coming and going without narration....there is even an occasional "bird feeder bully" on the scene. The second segment features birds enjoying the water...stone bird baths, a small stream and the spray from a waterfall all serve as tropical playgrounds. Again, vivid colors and striking markings abound here. Sit back and delight in scenes that you have to be "in the right place at the right time" to enjoy.
While not technically a "relaxation" video (some bird squawks, calls and whistles can be a bit raucous..) it would certainly brighten up a windowless office or waiting room. As a fun classroom activity for young children, let them watch and observe for 10 minutes or so, and share what they saw...I bet they notice much that adult viewers do not! Play this for your pet bird...you may even find him imitating some of his feathered brethren!
