CUSTOMER REVIEWS & FEEDBACK
I am absolutely infatuated with this DVD. It is slow moving and relaxing yet never boring. It features a wide variety tranquil tropical scenery: dramatic and towering mountains, lush, junglewaterfalls, rain soaked marsh foliage and the occasional chirps of exotic birds enjoying the coolness of rain from a passing storm. The soundscape is particularly pleasing since it's difficult to find quality thunderstorm videos for DVD. The distant thunder is the slow moving, rolling type - never jolting - and it sounds absolutely great on a high quality soundsystem. The film footage is vivid and crisp and clear. This would be a great video for a spa setting or a waiting room to reduce stress and promote a feeling of peace.

The sound quality in this video is so realistic it's almost as if you expect to get wet as you listen to the rain falling. I especially enjoyed the slow-moving distant thunder as the storm approaches in one of the scenes. The film footage is clear, colorful and diverse. This would be a great DVD in a doctor's office or just to relax after a long day of work.

This is wonderfully relaxing video to watch. The rain is peaceful with only occasional soft thunder in the distance - not disturbing at all. I love listening to and watching this kind of rain. There's a loop in it of flamingos standing in the water with the rain coming down. Flamingos are one of my very favorite birds so that was a pleasant addition. All in all, a very good addition to my collection of ambient videos. Nice to watch on a day in the winter while it is still below freezing in the middle of the day. Beautifully photographed too!

This DVD is a MUST for any setting that benefits from quiet contemplation and quiet activities.
In hour long segment one, the rain is falling and mist hangs over the mountains as a thunderstorm approaches. This is not a maelstrom that sends you running for cover, but a storm that lulls you to sleep. A statue-esque egret is unphased as the rain intensifies while some of our other fine feathered friends appear to be a bit less enthusiastic…
Segment two is 20 minutes in length. Storm clouds are arriving at the beautiful Bali Rice terraces. There are many varying tropical scenes here: lush fields dotted with palm trees, rivers, mountains, and hills blanketed in low clouds and mist. All seem to be rejuvenated by the rain while patiently awaiting the return of the sunshine. Inclimate weather doesn’t keep the birds from singing.
Segment three is 10 minutes of flamingos just hanging out in the rain. This is a superb DVD!
