Review of the Fireplace DVD of the Long Winter Evenings DVD
I highly recommend this DVD to anyone who enjoys the ambience of a fireplace. The winter and candle segments are good also and the music is very relaxing. I have bought a few DVD's from the Ambient Collection and have not been disappointed with any of them. The quality, picture, and sound is excellent!!

| Peaceful, calming, relaxing - they all apply. This is a wonderfully peaceful DVD with excellent photography. That pretty much says it all for me. Great job.

| In this DVD you can choose between many possibilities. There are fireplaces, candle lights and winter landscapes with falling snow. Also you can choose what you want to hear. Either real fire sounds, music or fire sounds and music together. Various songs can be selected, all suit very well for the relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The entire DVD is wonderful, but I am very excited by the fireplace with Christmas music, I love it.

| I love winter from the pristine snow falls to the glowing candles. This is the best of winter with a choice of two fireplaces and the natural sounds of fire or music, glowing candles, and beautiful snow scenes. The candles and the snow scenes are every changing in a slow relaxing fade. As with all quality ambient DVDs they can be looped separately or as a group giving you the best of winter without interruption.
This is professionally recorded in HD offering colors that are brilliant and clarity that is excellent. There is no panning or just half a fire. The whole fire is shown and burns down just as it would in your fireplace. Each fireplace scene is 25 minutes of a glowing, crackling, ever changing fire as you would see in a fireplace.

| "Gorgeous dvd and wonderful music for all ages."
Such a beautiful dvd. Real snowy, white out ambience. Would be just as lovely to watch on a snowy day, or on a hot, hot day. lovely music, beautiful scenery, really gorgeous! Arrived quickly, plays well, simply gorgeous...... great for fussy kids who will not go to sleep and for someone who just needs some quiet time, with a little peaceful music. Lovely.

| "Soothing and.. good for insomnia (?)"
Put this video on in our waiting room on the snow scenes. It has very soothing harp and piano music. I've received countless compliments about how relaxing it is. A couple of people fell asleep in the waiting room and blamed this video. Considering that a bulk of the people I see have insomnia, I think that's excellent.
